On October 13th, 1949, four fanciers formed the Netherland Dwarf Club. The Club grew quickly, members patiently waiting for stock from Europe. Early in 1950 the British Rabbit Council gave them official recognition. In 1950 the club held its first Dwarf Club show, at New Malden in Surrey, with a total of 18 rabbits entered.

The club has continued to go from strength to strength, and now we have over 250 entries at our adult stock show. We offer 25 CC’s at our stock, so we really do cater for everyone, the more popular colours such as red Eyed White and Black Otter to the minority colours such as Lilac and Sealpoints. We hold 5 stock shows per year throughout the UK.

Our membership is well above 200, including overseas members. All our members receive an 80-page yearbook with details of all our shows, previous winners, champions registered and an up-to-date membership list. We offer a range or merchandise such as hoodies, t shirts, and show aprons.
